In the gallery above there are examples of card designs, ranging from Christmas to moving house and business cards. I enjoy designing pieces like this because there are so many styles and techniques to try out and play with, they don't have to be boring and unoriginal.

The Portsmouth College Christmas card seen above (2nd in from left) was a design I created whilst studying at the college and this design was used for the College Christmas card for 2006. This was my second published work, the first was a logo for The Portsmouth Book Awards.

I have included my current business card in the selection above (Middle). I used blue and yellow for this design because it shows my roots, I was born in Portsmouth and am a life-long fan of the Football Team and so I used this for influence.

The moving house card (First in the album) was designed for a University brief. It was up to us what design we used to show it was a moving card. I chose a monopoly board because it was something I had not seen done before and the idea of the game related strongly to the design brief.

The second Christmas card design (2nd from right) was a design I created to give to my family. I love the design because although it is not obvious, it is very clever. (If you cannot work it out, please contact me via the contact page)

The final image i have included is a Civil Partnership Invitation. I chose to include this design because the legalisation of Gay marriage is a significant one. I can and will design for women also but currently the male one is my best design, this being the reason I have included it in the selection.
